Dutch midfielder Hedwiges Maduro, which has been free at end of season after four and a half years at Valencia, reached an agreement with Sevilla on a free transfer, as the Andulusian club announced.
The 27-year-old was offered a contract extension at Mestalla, while he also had an offer from Spartak Moscow, now coached by former Valencia boss Unai Emery, but he eventually opted for Sevilla.
Maduro joined Valencia from Ajax in January 2008, but numerous injuries prevented him from fulfilling his potential at Mestalla.
